Come Closer
Smau Arkitektur × Myklé
A collaboration between Myklé and Smau Arkitektur. A structure in the centre of the room — combining wood and silk, architecture and textile — structural and compelling at a distance, intimately beautiful when you move toward it.
In a time when distance has become a form of safety, this collaboration challenges the viewer to engage with the space, the materials, and maybe even with each other.

Myklé was born from a love of print — and a belief that a silk scarf should last for decades. The brand is the personal vision of Norwegian designer Torunn Myklebust, shaped by 18 years creating prints for some of the world's most iconic fashion houses.
Smau is a Norwegian boutique architecture practice with an affinity for the buildings of the 1960s and 70s. Founded by Bjarte Sandal in Stavanger, their work begins with a deep respect for what is already there, accentuated by distinct signature colours introduced in a measured, elegant way.
